Cool
Cosmos Infrared Gallery - Explore light you cannot see.
An interactive site with lots of highly colorful images that
clearly portray the nature of infrared light. There are lessons
for teachers, images for visual learners, and interactive
elements for exploration. This site is even fun for "big"
kids! As an added benefit, there is a version in Spanish.

Molecular
Learning's Science, Optics, & You - While this site
may sound like it is about molecules, it is about light, more
than anything else. The site is offered by Florida State Univ.
in collaboration with Optical Microscopy at the National High
Magnetic Field Laboratory. Interactive tutorials are offered
where students can "play" with light, color, vision,
and optics. Teacher Resources are offered with great activities.

Oracle
Education Foundation's Discovering Light Thinkquest -
Like a textbook on light, this site has images, information,
and learning aids. Light topic categories include physics,
technology, nature, and culture. Each topic has a sub-menu
with a question/answer format. This site is a great one for
students who can gleen understanding through reading.

Star
Light, Star Bright - Should this page go under astronomy?
Could be! However, since the site explores light, light waves,
and why stars appear the way they do, the content fits well
with the exploration of light. This is an interactive learning
tool which lets students see demonstrations of light related
concepts.
